For managers, marketers, business owners and entrepreneurs who want to understand how to craft strategic collaborations to innovate, develop new products or grow new markets.
Crafting Collaborations builds real skills and insights into how to design successful partnerships and innovate as a result.
You will develop a greater understanding of what collaborations are in a disruptive market and how to leverage them.
By developing an in-depth understanding of collaboration readiness, you will be able to identify skill gaps and risks well in advance and know how to best proceed into a collaborative agreement.
You will find out how to increase the chances of successful collaborations and minimise waste in terms of time, talent and money. So that when you say, “we need to collaborate” you can be confident that you have the skills, resources and processes to back it up.
Working together, we will design a personalised and specific Collaboration Activation Plan that allows you to fully utilise the creativity, ideas and tactics gained throughout the course.

Success Story: Kiikstart & Australian Regional Tourism
Kiikstart approached Australian Regional Tourism (ART) with the aim of adding expertise and new models of learning to its Emerging Tourism Professional (ETP) Program.
ART wanted to ensure that younger professionals in wide-flung regional areas could be developed and stay in their regions. Not move to metropolitan areas.
There was a need to ensure that entrepreneurial learnings and innovation best practice was made accessible to those young professionals. ART recognised Kiikstart had the energy and expertise to develop participants to take the next step in career and build an impactful brand.
ART and Kiikstart formed a successful partnership due to an alignment of values and that our work together would deliver wider benefit and outcome beyond each of the project participants.
While ART had the networks and participants, we were able to provide the content, expertise and resources to design and deliver a best practice experience to the industry.
Delivered across regional Australia, Kiikstart and ART worked together to design a forward-thinking professional development program that would bring together a community of young leaders.
It was essential that ETP bought a personalised approach to participants while providing creative, but challenging content that addressed the reality of being part of regional tourism.
The partnership allowed a new learning and development experience to be taken to young tourism leaders in a way that was more increasing accessible. This approach also delivered contemporary, globally aware, regionally focused content not available in traditional leadership programs.
At the end of the two programs, participants made significant changes in how they work and began to take steps towards shaping their new career pathways. The majority of participants have taken on senior roles as a result of being part of the ETP experience.
